28.10.2024This year's MIRO Forum will take place in Berlin from 20 to 22 November under the motto "Building bridges – this is how we will continue to provide the basis for the future!".
In his welcoming address to the event, Christian Strunk, President of the Federal Association of Mineral Raw Materials, MIRO, points out that mineral raw materials form the foundation of modern infrastructure. Without them, there would be no roads, bridges or buildings. They are indispensable for economic progress and quality of life in Germany. Even though recycled materials are becoming increasingly important and make a good contribution to conserving resources, primary rock raw materials continue to play a key role in supplying the markets. Suppliers must work hand in hand in order to sustainably cover the increasing demand in the medium term.
The leading event for the German gravel, sand, quartz sand and natural stone industry, organised by the Federal Association of Mineral Raw Materials (MIRO), is the most important meeting point for players and partners of the domestic producers of these important raw materials. The conference provides a framework for professional dialogue and a trade exhibition of supplier industries and service providers rounds off the offering.
