SOLIDS 2017

Dear Readers

At the SOLIDS 2017 in Dortmund the bulk solids industry will meet for the eighth time to inform themselves about innovations and solutions for the production, handling and processing of fine-grained to coarse-grained materials. The experts attending the event can look forward to a comprehensive supporting program with lectures, panel discussions and guided fair tours.

The contribution by Dr. Joachim Harder deals with the current “Development in mining in Africa”. Some African countries have achieved prominence due to their rapidly rising mining revenues. Furthermore, also this issue of AT again includes several short reports on the topics of dust collection, crushing and screening, wear protection, maintenance etc.

Wishing you an enjoyable visit to the fair
