Ultrasonic frequency variation for analysis sieves from HAVER
HAVER & BOECKER offer a comprehensive range of accessories and ancillary equipment for precise and comfortable work in laboratories for particle analysis. The HAVER UFA (Fig.) was especially designed for sieving of powders at critical cuts ≤ 300 µm. The sieve cloth is activated by ultrasonic waves with a continuously varying frequency. These high-frequency oscillations reduce the frictional resistance between particles and sieve cloth. The inclination to blinding is minimized, the sieving capacity is increased and the sieving duration is clearly shortened. Thus, reaching the endpoint of sieving is strongly accelerated by this kind of support and automatic sieving of some bulk solids is only possible at all in this way.
