MESDA presents new horizontal impact crusher
“The F12 is a milestone in mobile crushing technology,” says Enrico Kallmeyer, Managing Director of MESDA Germany. “With this machine, we have created a solution that not only delivers maximum performance, but also responds flexibly to the needs of our customers – whether in quarries, the recycling industry or medium-sized raw material companies.”
The 18-tonne crusher chamber is the heart of the new model and ensures maximum reduction capacity. In combination with the active double-deck pre-screen, which sorts out the largest possible proportion of fine material before the crushing process, the latest MESDA solution enables clean and cost-saving processing. The heavy four-bar rotor with a blow bar weight of over 400 kg and a high moment of inertia sets the F12 apart from other machines in its class. This combination achieves a crushing performance that fulfils even the most demanding requirements.
“We wanted to develop a machine that is not only powerful, but also extremely durable,” emphasises Kallmeyer. “That’s why we placed particular emphasis on robust and easy-to-maintain components.” These include, for example, the discharge chute, which reliably protects the main belt and extends the service life of the machine. Also integrated for recycling applications: a 4.5 x 1.5 m double-deck secondary screen, which is equipped with a recirculation system and an air separator for removing light materials. This makes the F12 particularly versatile and ideal for a wide range of applications.
Versatile drive concepts for individual requirements
In addition to its innovative technology, the F12 offers flexible drive concepts to suit different application scenarios. Customers can choose between a model driven directly by V-belts, a diesel-electric hybrid version or a fully electric plug-in version. “Sustainability is a key aspect for us and has long since arrived in the industry,” explains Kallmeyer. “With the all-electric version of the F12, we offer an environmentally friendly solution that not only reduces operating costs, but also fulfils the requirements for CO₂ reduction.”
High response and international demand
MESDA presented the F12 for the first time at bauma Shanghai at the end of November 2024 – with great success. Customers from Germany, Israel and other countries have already placed orders. “We are delighted with the positive response and the trust that both German and international customers have placed in us,” says Kallmeyer. “Our aim is to provide our customers with products that give them a real competitive advantage.”
