SOLIDS Basel 2016 – Leading national trade show for industrial users

This year’s SOLIDS Basel runs with the slogan “The right technologies for every process”. The 5th trade show for granules, powder and bulk solids technologies will take place on 16th and 17th November 2016 at Messe Basel. The main industry event for decision makers and users from various industries will provide an efficient mix of exhibition and knowledge transfer at the InnovationCenter stage. At Switzerland’s top event for bulk solids and process technology in Basel, again everything revolves around the processing and handling of granules, powders and bulk solids of all kinds. “In many industries, bulk solids are part of the production process and therefore in the focus of an efficient and cost-conscious strategy”, says Daniel Eisele, Easyfairs Event Director.

Again, key players of the industry will attend SOLIDS Basel 2016, such as ALPIQ Prozessautomation AG, Brabender Technologie GmbH & Co. KG, Emde Industrie-Technik GmbH, Endress+Hauser (Switzerland) AG, IEP Technologies GmbH, KREISEL GmbH & Co. KG, REMA TIP TOP Vulc-Material AG, REMBE GmbH Safety + Control, Schrage Rohrkettensystem GmbH, Siemens Schweiz AG, Swissfilter AG, TEAG Textil-Emballagen AG and VEGA Messtechnik AG. For the first time, the companies Erwin Telle GmbH, NORO Gesellschaft für Rohrsysteme mbH, Recyclix and Rubitec AG will participate in the fair.

The trade show focuses on diverse processing and process steps - from crushing and grinding of coarse and fine-grained materials to filtering and separating, mixing, agglomerating and shaping. On display are machinery and procedures for incoming materials, handling and processing, internal processes and storing as well as internal and external transport.

Flexibility is an important keyword when talking about bulk solids handling. How does it work as efficiently as possible? This question will be answered, for example, by the Schrage Rohrkettensystem GmbH Conveying Systems at SOLIDS Basel – with the new BULKup. The system transports bulk solids as needed: out of big bags or sacks – into wagons, trucks or containers. Visitors can experience in real life how the BULKup works, as the conveyor system of Schrage Conveying Systems will be placed in front of the entrance of SOLIDS Basel together with a bulk solids transporter. “Flexible handling solutions are very important at the production site in Switzerland”, Ralf Schrage, CEO of Schrage Rohrkettensystem GmbH, Conveying Systems, justifies the participation in the fair. “At SOLIDS Basel trade visitors find everything they need for an efficient and cost-conscious business practice. In addition, users and decision makers can profit from expert presentations on the topic of bulk solids and process technology.”
