The relocation of a gravel works on a tight schedule during the winter months is a great challenge. A successful example of such a project was a relocation of the Munich-based Kies Union, which implemented this task together with ASE Technik AG. This project additionally involved an innovative production concept to increase the material efficiency. Read our interview from p. 30.
The avoidance of downtimes, the reduction of maintenance and repair costs as well as the increase of efficiency both regarding the throughputs and the materials and components used in plant construction - they all are aspects, which are in the limelight as regards the further development of products and plants for the transportation of bulk solids.
The Artur Küpper GmbH & Co. KG developed an idler construction distinguished by highly effective sealing as well as extremely low rolling resistance. The idlers are designed for a service life of 10 years with a simultaneous reduction in energy consumption.
