Effective Prescreening
For special jobs, you need special plants (Fig.). At the Canteras Foj quarry near Barcelona, Spain, limestone is crushed. Four finished grades are produced: 0–4 mm, 4–12 mm, 12–22 mm, > 22 mm, which are used mainly for concrete and road construction. The special thing about the feed material is that it is highly impure, in this case containing a high percentage of loam.
