AUMUND Fördertechnik pools know-how
Effective May 1st 2014 AUMUND Fördertechnik assumed the spare parts services of the Maschinenfabrik BESTA & MEYER in Saarland/Germany. Herewith AUMUND follows several strategic goals simultaneously: pooling the know-how of the companies BESTA & MEYER, Louise and WTW, a focussed expansion of the own After Sales Service and inspection services branded AUMUND PREMAS® as well as the strengthening of the market position as premium provider within the new machine business for trough chain conveyors and silo and hopper discharge systems. Already during the early 1990s AUMUND acquired Maschinenfabrik LOUISE, Cologne. In 2006 WTW Engineering followed – both companies in possession of engineering, patents, production and sales structures for hopper discharge systems and trough chain conveyors. By acquiring BESTA & MEYER, presently AUMUND reinforces its technology leadership in system solutions and its product range anew. Simultaneously it expands the company’s sales- and service activities with the raw and bulk material industry internationally. The acquisition of the wear and spare parts service of BESTA & MEYER is again linked to the acquisition of patents, engineering drawings, spare parts lists and machine files with the detailed machine history. Therefore, the continued support of the BESTA & MEYER client base is secured. In addition to our After Sales Service and our wear and spare parts service, we offer our inspection services branded AUMUND PREMAS®. The expert staff like inspectors and supervisors perform machine inspections and on site trainings. That way AUMUND Fördertechnik boosts its all-round service package to the highest possible standard for the clients’ benefit.
