SCHÜTTGUT 2012 and RECYCLING-TECHNIK 2012: two trade shows – one venue
For the first time both fairs of easyFairs: SCHÜTTGUT 2012 and RECYCLING-TECHNIK 2012 will be held together. This new concept will utilize synergies, and provide visitors to Dortmund’s Westfalenhallen with a parallel trade fair centring on related issues in recycling. The two trade fairs exclusively address trade professionals in the industry, decision-makers at RECYCLING-TECHNIK will be able to find out about the latest products and technologies for the collection, sorting, processing, recycling and disposal of recyclable materials. Solutions for occupational health and safety and waste-to-energy are just as much part of the trade fair as trading with secondary resources and other services in recycling technologies.
To take a closer look at the new concept and get a first idea of what awaits visitors in Dortmund this November, the editors of AT INTERNATIONAL spoke to Robert Stefani, Marketing Manager of easyFairs Germany/Austria.
Stefani: A number of exhibitors from recycling technology and systems have already been represented at SCHÜTTGUT in the last few years, that is recycling is already a topic at the trade fair. Talks with exhibitors told us that recycling will play a much more important role in the future. RECYCLING-TECHNIK specifically addresses the improvement of recycling efficiency.
Stefani: That is the exhibitors can concentrate on covering the strong German markets of North-Rhine Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Hesse with these events. Many trade fairs strive towards a very high international visitor quota, and sometimes the strong German market is disregarded. SCHÜTTGUT and RECYCLING-TECHNIK are focussed particularly on these extremely interesting regional sales markets. At the same time, the interesting markets of Belgium and Netherlands fall in the catchment area of the two trade fairs, which will certainly make the events even more interesting for exhibitors.Although the two trade fairs are showing a high-calibre range of products and services and also offer an interesting and free support programme, entry for trade visitors is also free (see infobox).
Stefani: The two trade fairs offer a high-calibre programme of papers. Concise papers by internationally acknowledged experts will examine intensively both current and forward-pointing issues taken from the industries. In addition, on the first day of the trade fair, the SCHÜTTGUT Conference easy-upcon will be held. In addition, in Dortmund around 350 exhibitors will showcase their innovations. This combination of expert knowledge and product presentation will certainly make a visit to Dortmund worth the trip.
