20 % more space booked, new demonstration area
The 15th ECOMONDO (Fig.) International Trade Fair of Material & Energy Recovery and Sustainable Development is to be held in Rimini from November 9 to 12, 2011, in parallel to the 5th KEY ENERGY International Expo for Sustainable Energy and Mobility.
Even now, two months before its opening day, the ECOMONDO 2011 can boast booked out exhibition halls, particularly in the Waste Processing, Water and Waste-Water sectors. 20 % more space sold, plus a new outdoor area to be used for demonstration of machines, underline even more emphatically the dominant role of Italy‘s lead fair in this industry. Rimini Fiera SpA, the Rimini trade fair and exhibition organisation, is this year inviting even more specialist visitors to the ECOMONDO; numerous decision-makers are expected from Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and from Brazil, Argentina and Turkey, in particular.
For the German-speaking region, a corporate package including a co-operation exchange has been organised in co-operation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Germany. The ECO2011 international co-operation exchange for ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY includes participation in B2B talks on the exhibitors‘ stands during the first day of the visit, and free-of-charge admission to the fair on the second. The talks will be agreed in advance with the ECOMONDO exhibitors on an on-line platform. The Rimini Expo Centre package includes two to three nights‘ accommodation for all participants, all transfers from and to the airport and from the hotels to the fair and back, and also provides a Business Lounge and an interpreting service where required. The initiative will conclude with an “Afterwork Evening” on November 11, 2011. This year, Rimini Fiera SpA will again be presenting, jointly with its eAmbiente srl (www.eambiente.it) partner, the “Città Ecosostenibile” (“The Sustainable City”) project which, following its successes in previous years, will once more be featured within the ECOMONDO. The Cittá Sostenibile is an exhibition of international projects highlighting the best urban solutions for sustainable development in the “city of the future”.
The fully booked ORO BLU (Water and Waste-Water) hall illustrates the great interest of the industry in the ECOMONDO 2011, and the latter‘s enduring topicality. The results of a European scientific research project (performed by AquaFit4Use) for the sustainable use of water in industrial applications will be presented here. The latest technological solutions for the reduction of water consumption, along with their environmental implications, will be examined in an address, as will the uses of water for industrial purposes.
