Kies + Sand kompakt
The next sand and gravel conference Kies + und Sand kompakt will take place on 25 and 26 January 2010, the venue will again be the Altes Rathaus in Hanover. The conference is again designed as a “double-up” event, but the topics have been arranged in modules that can be booked separately, ensuring clear target group orientation. The focus of the first day is “Technology – Innovation – Operations”, with high-calibre topics and competent speakers, who are presenting research findings on key aspects of applications, innovations, industrial engineering and cost reduction. The focus of the second day is on “Raw materials – Environment – Sustainability”. On this day, the German Sustainability Award for Sand and Gravel 2010 will be awarded by its sponsor, Lower Saxony’s Minister of the Environment and Climate Protection, Hans Sander. In addition, participants can expect a panel discussion with renowned experts from the raw materials and building materials sector on the subject of the future goal – Assuring the Future Supply of Raw Materials – Conservation of Resources at Any Price? This discussion will be
moderated by Joachim Mahrholdt from the environment editorial department of ZDF, Germany’s second publicly funded television channel. The parallel exhibition of suppliers and service providers for the industry is integrated in the overall
