Rockster Recycler “rocks” the quarry

The advantages of the crawler-mounted crushing plants from Rockster Recycler are optimum dimensions, low weight and their above-average performance – no matter which material is dealt with. At Steinexpo the Austrians will present two very different plants:

Impact mill R1100

The Rockster R1100 has been successful in the market already since 2009. It was developed to offer a solution for highest performance demands of the customers to be able to handle even large orders by means of a compact and transport-friendly plant. With the development of the R1100, Rockster not only optimally completed the existing range of products, but also reached a new performance dimension of compact recycling.

“After the 25-ton crusher R900 already had proved an optimum success in the international market, we decided to develop an even larger plant to complete our range of products and to cover a wider market segment”, explained Wolfgang Kormann, managing director of Rockster. “Due to its transport dimensions the R1100 still belongs to the compact sector. However, due to its excellent performance of up to 350 tons per hour it is also optimally suitable for major orders. This, on the other hand, is an opportunity for our customers to expand their offers.”

However, the Rockster R1100 is also distinguished by technical trimmings, such as the two-stage pre-screening system, which, due to its improved quality, leads to an increased overall throughput and, by the way, to a minimization of the wear costs. Like the more compact models, the R1100 also has a hydrostatic drive enabling a stepless adjustment of the crushing speed. This ensures an optimum adaptation to the product quality and the drive is not subject to wear as opposed to conventional coupling systems. The patented Duplex system, another peculiarity of Rockster Recycler, makes it possible that the direction of rotation can be changed by the hydrostatic drive.

Thus, the R1100 can be converted very quickly to an R1200 (jaw crusher) by exchanging the crusher units, i.e. from an impact crusher to a jaw crusher and vice versa.

Combined with the optionally available screening system – consisting of the single-deck screen box and the return belt – the R1100 becomes a compact “all in one” solution producing a 100% defined product in one operation. The visitors of Steinexpo will be able to see this when the plant including screening system will be presented with the most different materials.

Impact mill R700S

The most compact solution of the range of products of Rockster has especially been developed also for applications in narrow space conditions, such as in cities. With its dimensions of 9 m length, 2.4 m width, 3 m height and a weight of 19.9 tons only, the R700S can easily be transported from one location to the other and is the perfect combination of compactness and maximum performance. In particular, together with optionally available Rockster screening system, the compact plant becomes a complete package to obtain a quality product in one operation even in the smallest space.

Despite its total weight of 20 tons only, the plant is distinguished by features that usually could only be found in large plants and it is a reliable crusher even when it is used for the most difficult materials or hard rock.

The new plant will be presented for the first time at Steinexpo from 31 August to 3 September at the stand of Rockster Recycler, demonstration area A, stand A8.
