Symposium for mineral processing technology

AI, process monitoring and recycling of mineral building materials

The Symposium for Mineral Processing Technology, organized by the Institute for Mineral Processing Machines and Recycling Systems Technology at TU Bergakademie, will take place from 7 to 8 March 2024. The conference venue is the Freiberg Municipal Festival Hall. The symposium will begin on March 7 with a joint dinner in the “Schankhaus 1863” restaurant for networking and exchange.

The 8th of March offers a rich programme of lectures on the topic: “Crushing and classifying – producing, characterizing, drying, separating and recycling products”. A total of 13 specialist presentations will focus on process control, new developments in processing technology, AI for analyzing and controlling processes and the production of secondary raw materials. The speakers come mainly from industry, but also from academia. The day of lectures will conclude with an evening event in the Ratskeller Freiberg.
