First PRO line screening plant extends the product portfolio

The new mobile scalping screen MOBISCREEN MSS 1102 PRO from Kleemann is characterised by its high output, simple operability and excellent ergonomics. Thanks to its Dual Power drive, the machine can be operated all-electrically, scoring highly with regard to sustainability.

Compact, powerful and flexible in its application

With the MOBISCREEN MSS 1102 PRO, Kleemann extends its portfolio of mobile scalping screens above the established MOBISCREEN MSS 802 EVO. Thanks to its robust design, generously dimensioned feed hopper and a screen casing of 11.2 m2, the plant an achieve a feed capacity of up to 750 t/h.

High flexibility in the application is guaranteed by the stepless adjustment of the speed of all conveyor belts and simple conversion from two to three final grain sizes. The wide setting range of the screen casing angle (12.5 – 17.0°) makes a high screening capacity combined with very high product quality possible. A large selection of screening media permits efficient application of the plants. Whether these are finger decks for clayey excavated earth or square mesh for classifying decorative grit – the screen decks of the MOBISCREEN 1102 PRO can be covered to match the individual application case. Mixed covering of the screen decks is also possible. Overall, the new plant offers comprehensive configuration diversity to impress as a standalone machine or in conjunction with further Kleemann plants.

 

Simple operability for safe application

The intuitive plant control of the MSS 1102 PRO reduces the risk of operating errors and saves learning times. Additionally, all relevant functions can be operated from a safe distance, thereby ensuring enhanced work safety. The optional SPECTIVE radio remote control also makes operation of the screening plant easier: It can be used to control not only the driving function but also all plant setting functions. Furthermore, it makes convenient speed setting of the hopper discharge conveyor possible as well as the cutting in of further functions such as the water spray system.

The Kleemann screening plants are now also available with SPECTIVE CONNECT. The digital application provides operators with all relevant data such as speed, consumption values and fill levels directly on their smartphone. The stockpile monitoring function provides a display of the current status of material stockpiles. When a certain predefined value is reached, the operator receives a message that the stockpile should be cleared as soon as possible. This facilitates work and increases productivity.

 

Good accessibility for more user-friendliness

Regular maintenance work is essential for a long machine life and reliable production operation at all times. In order to carry out this maintenance work as quickly and efficiently as possible, the MOBISCREEN MSS 1102 PRO offers good accessibility to all maintenance-relevant components and lubrication points as well as intelligent cleaning solutions. The screening media are also easily accessible and quickly exchanged via extra-wide work platforms and a horizontally adjustable screen casing.

Last but not least, easily accessible tank nozzles on both sides of the plant ensure a smooth refuelling process, even if one side of the plant is difficult to reach, e.g. due to a ramp or blasted pile.

 

Electro-hydraulic Dual Power drive

Sustainability plays an important role in the Kleemann plants. This is demonstrated with the MOBISCREEN MSS 1102 PRO where the option of an electro-hydraulic Dual Power drive allows on-site CO2 emission-free work because the machine can be operated all-electrically. If the engine is run with diesel, a load-controlled fan guarantees a reduction of the noise level and diesel consumption. Water spraying at the discharge conveyors, in turn, reduces the dust emissions significantly during plant operation, ensuring better working conditions for plant operators and higher levels of acceptance of local residents.
