Agreement for share takeover

RTT Systemtechnik GmbH in Zittau and Steinert Elektromagnetbau GmbH in Cologne announce the joint occur of their companies forming RTT Steinert GmbH. Consolidating the sensor technology of RTT Systemtechnik GmbH and the magnet and sensor technology of Steinert Elektromagnetbau GmbH, the new company will offer a complete product range of separation technology; consisting of near infrared technology for the plastics and paper separation, sensor controlled separation and the magnet technology for the areas of metal and mineral separation. RTT GmbH brings their years of experience in the development and marketing of near infrared technology; whereas Steinert brings to the group years of experience in the area of sensor sorting and magnetic separation. On September 14, 2009, the CEO’s of both companies, Bert Handschick and Franz Heiringhoff, signed the purchase contract. The first presentation as joint-venture-partners took already place at RWM in Birmingham one day after the signatures (Fig.).
