New pump generation SPX
The new series SPX from Söndgerath Pumpen GmbH comprising 16 types has been designed for the hardest tasks in dewatering or drainage of sites, gravel pits and in mining (Fig.). Depending on the type, the compact submersible sewage pumps of the series SPX deliver sewage containing sand or gravel as well as light sludges up to 48.5 m. If the tasks are even more difficult, the types SPX-R are offered. They have an additional agitator mounted on the shaft, which clearly improves the flowability of the materials to be conveyed. Consequently, these units are able to pump out sludges, mud, drilling emulsions, betonite and similar problematic mixtures without any failure. Their extreme ruggedness and very high wear resistance ensure an economic long life of all these submersible pumps. This also applies to the continuous operation of surfacing and sipping, since all submersible pumps of the generation SPX are absolutely safe as regards dry running. Their capacity ranges from 1.5 to 11 kW.
