DMT MiningForum in Kassel/Germany
For the 13th time DMT is inviting specialists and decision makers from the mining and natural resources sector to discuss current developments in the raw materials industry. Around 300 participants are expected to attend the event at the Kongress Palais in Kassel, Germany, on 18th and 19th June 2015.
In a total of 54 presentations, national and international speakers from mining companies and research institutes will address topics covering all stages of the mining life cycle. Subject categories at this year’s event are Exploration & Developing Deposits, Extraction & Transport, Modernisation & Automation, Training & Safety and Post-Mining Management & Use. Furthermore, in the framework of the separate English language session selected international mining projects will be presented followed by a round of discussion looking at solution approaches. At the accompanying trade exhibition attendees will be able to catch up on the latest industry developments and trends from the contributing companies.
DMT’s cooperation partner for this year’s event is the Kassel-based company K+S Aktiengesellschaft, one of the world’s leading providers of potassic and magnesian products. The MiningForum event will be rounded off with an excursion to the Werra composition works in Hattorf-Wintershall, where K+S has been mining potash salt for almost 100 years.
