The new cone crusher was developed in cooperation with the production partners in order to meet the need for the production of high-quality chippings, even in smaller quantities. The compact, container-mobile hook lift plant has a weight of just 10 t, which occupies an absolute niche in the cone crusher sector worldwide. Uwe Pfeifer, head of processing technology, explains: „The target group for our new plant are clearly the smaller companies, for which a cone crusher, as currently available on the market, is often not economical to operate. In order to enable these companies to produce high-quality grit, we are expanding our rental park with the RESTA KK31. We are pleased to be able to present the system at the trade fair and are looking forward to the feedback from our customers and interested parties.“
The new container-mobile cone crusher is equipped with a dual-power drive and can therefore also be fed in from the power grid. It is used as the second or third crushing stage and, thanks to its relatively low fines content, enables a high-quality end product. The machine can be equipped with two different crushing tools, which are divided into “coarse” and “fine”. While the “coarse” version offers an inlet opening of 73 mm and a gap adjustment of 6 to 22 mm, the “fine” version has an inlet opening of 43 mm and a gap adjustment of 4 to 16 mm. The gap adjustment is hydraulic. Depending on the version, setting and feed material, an output of up to 35 t/h is possible.
The trade fair innovation can be seen in perfect interaction with the BMD CS4 container screening plant and the mobile container crushing plant BMD RA 700/7 at the RecyclingAKTIV.
