Zeppelin Group takes over sales activities

The Zeppelin Group takes over the sales and service of mining machinery and equipment from Caterpillar Global Mining LLC in all its Cat sales areas. With this additional purchase Zeppelin completes its existing offer of Cat mining products by further special solutions of the former manufacturer Bucyrus International Inc., which was taken over by Caterpillar in 2011. Amongst other things, the program comprises hydraulic excavators, cable-operated excavators, dragline excavators and drilling equipment. This program is complemented by a whole range of plant and machinery for the underground extraction of raw materials. In the future the Zeppelin Group will offer these new products as well as the corresponding service and support to customers in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Armenia, Belarus, in its Russian territories, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

With this takeover the Zeppelin Group also covers the complete portfolio of performances in mining. Caterpillar themselves will continue the former Bucyrus sales until a takeover of rights has taken place in an area.
