Savings with new, fully mobile gravel and sand plant

With its crushers, RUBBLE MASTER HMH GmbH continues to catch the spirit of time. “Harsher environmental requirements, high logistics costs, plus growing environmental awareness make people more receptive to environmentally friendly alternatives such as mobile processing on site,” explains Gerald Hanisch, CEO of the company. At the RM V550GO! Demo Days in Eferding/Austria in July, customers from all around the world were impressed with the latest RM crusher (Fig. 1). The RM V550GO! combines the technology of a cone crusher vertical shaft impactor (VSI) with the benefits of the RM GO! principle. This fully mobile gravel and sand plant produces sand from waste material or processes hard stone to make recycled aggregate.

The RM V550GO! specializes in two applications: the production of sand from waste material and the processing of hard stone such as granite or basalt, for example. The RM V550GO! produces around 50 t od 0-4 mm sand per hour from 8-16 mm waste aggregate. The throughput for hard stone (input 70-200 mm) is in the region of approx. 140 t/h with an end product size of 0-32 mm (Fig. 2).

The RM MTS2010 tracked mobile stockpile belt is the ideal addition for both application areas. “The stockpile belt basically  replaces a wheel loader. As a result the user can make a drastic saving in costs. He needs just a third of the fuel. There are no wear costs you associate with wheel loaders and you can use  the personnel in another area instead which earns more profit,” explains RM CEO Gerald Hanisch. The RM MTS2010 handles piles up to a height of 8 m and can be easily transported on a low loader. The stockpile conveyor  belt  can be used individually at large quarries for stockpiling a multitude of  materials. At waste sorting plants, for stockpiling chips or industrial waste, the RM MTS2010 is already being used successfully. Key advantage compared with wheel loaders: with the stockpiling belt, there is no undesirable compaction of the bulk solids.
