No standstill

Dear readers,
Standstill is the beginning of the end – also in the broad field of mineral processing technology. Therefore, in order to avoid standstill, not only research is carried out at universities and in companies, but also in practical applications, the efforts are directed towards optimisation and further development.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of conveyor belts, various aspects are to be taken into account when selecting an optimal conveyor belt suitable for the own operation with its specific requirements. The technical article starting on p. 34 provides well-founded information on this.
In another technical article, thyssenkrupp presents an innovative drive system for screening machines (from p. 40). With various intelligent detailed solutions as well as reduced weight and overall height for the entire construction, the newly developed goovi® multiple vibrating screen offers higher operational flexibility, optimised screening efficiency and, associated with this, improved product quality.
Natural resources are becoming increasingly scarce. Therefore, the recycling of construction and demolition waste as well as the processing of these materials into secondary raw materials are becoming increasingly important. The technical article “Sensor-based sorting of mineral waste and raw materials” (from p. 48) focuses on current research results with a freefall sorter equipped with near-infrared sensor technology and colour detection arranged on both sides of the material flow.
You can find further interesting articles in the “Focus Industry” section, starting on p. 10. Wishing you lots of interesting insights and enjoyable reading
