New Generation of Vibrating-Control-Screener
GKM Siebtechnik is one of the technical market leaders in the field of fine screening. The company develops and produces in Germany and globally markets Tumbler Screeners, Vibrating Tumbler Screening Machines and Laboratory Air-jet and Shaker Sieves.
At POWTECH 2016 GKM Siebtechnik will present the newly developed Vibrating-Control-Screener KTS-VS 2 (Fig. 1), which has been specially adapted to the needs of the food and pharma industry. Requirements to this screening machine were easy handling and the highest hygienic standards. This machine is easy to handle thank to modular design. The booth of GKM invites the visitors moreover with a great program of products and innovations. The Ultimate GKM tumbler screener KTS with patented pneumatic deck lifters, the GKM vibrating control Screener KTS-V2-450, Vibrating-tumbler-screener KTS-VS 1200 with Ultra Vario Sonic System and the laboratory screeners like the Laboratory air-jet lab sieve KLS and the laboratory sieve shaker KTL will also be presented.
In addition, GKM Siebtechnik offers solutions beyond the screening technology. Based on the good experience gained in the field of ultrasonic screen cleaning, the company ventured to use a new technology (Fig. 2). It often happens with fine, poorly flowing bulk solids and dusts that they settle on pipelines, silos or container walls. This problem occurs in all industrial sectors where raw materials and products are conveyed and stored. The ultimate solution of this problem is the newly developed technology of ultrasonic excitation using frequency variations, which successfully avoids product coatings at pipelines, silos and container walls. The container or silo, respectively, is excited by means of ultrasonic vibrations thus avoiding the adherence of the product at the container wall. This system can be run continuously or intermittently according to the requirements. The Ultra-Vario-Sonic System is installed by simply welding a sound conductor to the critical parts. It is possible to supply up to 4 transducers simultaneously by means of one generator.
