At POWTECH 2013, GKM Siebtechnik GmbH will be
showing its new patented Pneumatic Twin System for lifting and clamping the decks of tumbler screens. This facilitates screen changes and reduces screen changeover times.

With the patented Pneumatic Twin System, screens can be changed conveniently, quickly and safely within just a few minutes. This deck lifting system, which can also be retrofitted to already installed screens, was developed for the KTS series of tumbler screens with a diameter of 1200-2600 mm (Fig.). The two to four pneumatic cylinders only need a 6-8 compressed air connection and are supplied with a mobile operating console as standard, see also video “Changing the screen of a KTS 2000 in 2 minutes” at

As a useful addition, GKM is also presenting a fast clamping system with spring assembly that can be used for sizes 1200-2600 mm. Instead of the standard clamping screws, the newly developed fast clamping system with spring assembly is used. This saves additional changeover and maintenance time. Naturally, the new fast clamping system can be retrofitted to installed screens at any time and at no significant cost.
