Heavy-duty industrial vacuums

With the DS 9/D 9 series, Ruwac is adding heavy-duty machines to its range of industrial vacuums. These can be used for extracting, conveying and filling heavy bulk solids (Fig.). Irrespective of whether gravel, slag, chippings, cement or crushed stone have to be conveyed, the semi-mobile plants operate with such high power that they can efficiently vacuum and extract large quantities of bulk solids. With a vacuum to -700 mbar and maximum air rates of 1300 to 2000 m³/h, the heavy-duty vacuums take up the material through a suction tube with a diameter of 100 or 120 mm and collect it in a rugged preliminary separator, which, for example, can be moved with a forklift and emptied with a tipping device. Alternatively, the vacuums can be mounted onto a truck or trailer chassis. The power of the equipment can be adjusted so that they can be adapted to the respective application and extract the material from lower- or higher-lying areas such as bins or ships’ holds.
