Beltcon 17 – The International Materials Handling Conference and Exhibition
The next Beltcon will be held on 6 and 7 August 2013 at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Johannesburg/South Africa. The conference is about cutting edge technology promoting the excellence of belt conveying. The conference is organised by a dedicated Committee of volunteers from the South African conveyor industry and will appeal to owner decision makers, designers, engineers, manufacturers and constructors in the sphere of belt conveying.
There will be two very full days of presentation of papers by world-renowned academics and leaders in the field of materials handling and belt conveying, as well as from local South African experts. Interesting, controversial and up-to-the minute case studies, new data, new products, the latest technology and lively discussions make Beltcon 17 a must attend conference for decision makers, designers, engineers and manufacturers in the mining and materials handling industries.
Now in its 34th year, the International Materials Handling Conference is held every two years and is regarded as one of the foremost technical conferences of its kind, drawing delegates from all over the world. The concurrent exhibition is a popular attraction. Delegates attending can claim credit points towards the ECSA Continuous Professional Development requirements.
