Advanced development tailored to requirements
dsb innocrush, manufacturer of mobile crushing and screening equipment, has developed the new Innodrive in line with overall company concept. At present, the smallest of the dsb innocrush machines, the Innocrush 30, is being fitted with this system.
The crusher with 1 m rotor diameter is driven direct by the 186 kW Caterpillar diesel motor by means of V-belts (Fig.) – the belt tension is varied hydraulically and engaged or disengaged while the motor is running. The crusher therefore starts up at the momentary slippage between belt and disc, which the sufficiently dimensioned V-belts can handle without problems. The innovative drive is easy to access after removal of the protective grid so that inspection or replacement of the V-belts does not entail any significant effort or cost.
The other components too are optimally accessible for maintenance or repair, in addition the Innocrush 30 convinces with a very favourable ratio of throughput rate (300 t/h) to the weight of the machine – weighing just under 30 tonnes, the compact machine can still be easily transported. Interesting features are already included in the standard model, like, for example, a main discharge belt that can be hydraulically lowered to ground level, significantly reducing the risk of damage by the reinforcing rods getting caught up with the overbelt magnet.
