New software QuarryX

The new blasting planning software QuarryX has one goal: safe and efficient blasting. Following the proven software Quarry6, it represents the latest standard in blasting planning. It summarizes the dates of the three-dimensional face survey as well as the borehole and GNSS survey resulting in a complete three-dimensional image of the blasting system. The clearly structured user interface in German does not require any PC specialist. It has been designed for working as practically and easily as possible. Optimization of drilling angle, depth and direction as well as the subdrill and the desired target value will be visible immediately as a profile and plan view or as a three-dimensional view (Fig.), respectively. Critical burdens along the entire face can be recognized by means of the BurdenMaster function. The drilling specialist receives drilling instruction at the touch of a button. After drilling, the planned and real borehole course can be checked in the software. Finally, the software offers a simple documentation of all work. The software can be used with both two-dimensional and three-dimensional surveying systems. In addition, the software for ignition and explosive planning, QuarryDetonator, has been completely integrated into QuarryX.
