Hillhead 2012 –
Hazemag UK Ltd

A major feature of the Hazemag stand at Hillhead 2012 will be a fully operational model of the Hazemag VARIOwobbler (Fig.). This new generation of wobbler feeder, designed for pre-screening operations in crushing plants, offers the facility to infinitely vary the gap between individual shafts by means of an hydro-mechanical control system. It means that the granular size of screened product can be determined at the touch of a button, allowing the operator to achieve a consistent quality of screened feed to the crusher, despite any changes in the characteristics and properties of the initial feed material.

Also on display will be an AP-KVH 1005 R sand impactor designed to produce high-quality, uniformly sized sand and chippings at capacities up to 60 t/h. The impactor features generously sized doors for full access to the internals. Blow bars are inserted laterally to allow quick and easy turning or replacement. Impact aprons are hydraulically adjustable and the AP-KV’s housing is lined with easy-to-change wear plates with interchangeable wear liners. It has a reversible rotor, which allows rotation direction to be changed to ensure that blow bar striking edges are fully utilized, and rotors can be supplied with either two or four blow bars. A vibrating feed system and vertical inlet arrangement provides optimum feed distribution over the whole length of the rotor to achieve optimum comminution of feed material whilst maintaining even wear rates of the blow bars.
