New Kleemann MR 130 EVO at Feess in Kirchheim/Teck

Feess in Kirchheim/Teck celebrated its 60th company anniversary this year. From its beginnings as a haulier of gravel, ballast and excavated earth in the 1950s, it has gradually widened its range of operations to include demolition and disposal services. Crowds of visitors attended an open day to visit the company’s new recycling facilities in Kirchheim/Teck and its imposing array of construction machines.

Feess employs around 100 people today. Its modern fleet of machines and vehicles includes around 30 trucks, over 50 construction machines and several track-mobile crushers and screens. The company recently added a Kleemann Mobirex MR 30 ZS (Fig. 1). The track-mobile impact crusher of the new Mobirex EVO generation is designed for ultimate performance in continuous operation and it is also a very versatile machine. “It is important that the crusher performs reliably in the recycling of concrete, building rubble (Fig. 2) or asphalt as well as in natural stone,” says Walter Feess, Managing Partner at Feess. The new crusher is equipped with both an independent double-deck pre-screen and a rescreening unit incorporating recirculation of the oversize, which can be very easily attached and detached in just a few minutes depending on the application. Defined final sizes can therefore be produced with optimum product quality. At Feess, prototype tests for the new Mobirex EVO series were conducted so that from the beginning the company could convince itself of the efficiency of the new equipment. “It therefore stood to reason that a new acquisition should be another Kleemann,” explains Walter Feess. In addition, after-sales support is also an enormously important factor. This is where the good service of the Wirtgen branches comes in – in this case, Wirtgen Augsburg, which are responsible for the sale and after sales service of the Kleemann products in Germany.
