BHS-Sonthofen focuses on growth
On 23.05.2011 the foundation stone was laid at BHS-Sonthofen for the new administration building (Fig.) and a new warehouse was inaugurated. The new administration building will provide 90 employees with a modern morking environment and will have enough spare capacity for further growth of the company. The completion of the new four-storey building with a floor area of about 3000 m² is planned for June 2012. The investment volume amounts to over 5 million €. With the new warehouse, BHS expands its storage capacity from 1800 m² to approximately 3800 m². Until now, large parts were stored in a warehouse that was unfortunately quite far away from the production processes. BHS has thus created additional spatial capacity that was urgently needed to cope with the increasing order volume. The investment costs for the hall, including interior equipment (shelves, crane, forklifts, etc.) were almost 2 million €.
