AT: What are the novelties or products, respectively, you will present at the SOLIDS 2015?
Stephan Brand: At this year’s SOLIDS we will present, in addition to the successful Delta Blower and Delta Hybrid products, a compressor unit of the new series E-Compressor. The current series comprises a total of 6 sizes for a volume flow range from 330 m³/h to 7000 m³/h and with drive powers from 30 kW to 400 kW at maximum differential pressures of 2 and 3.5 bars, respectively. The new E-compressors are completely tailored to the requirements of practice and are distinguished by an increased energy efficiency by up to 6 %. They are excellently suitable for the dry and clean compression of air, neutral gases and special gases. They are used worldwide in countless industrial applications, such as pneumatic conveying or chemical processes.
AT: What is the special feature of SOLIDS 2015 in your opinion?
Stephan Brand: The fairs SOLIDS in Dortmund as well as Powtech in Nuremberg are for us the two leading fairs in the field of mechanical process engineering in Germany. Also this year we are looking forward to many interesting discussions with plant construction firms and end users.
AT: How do you assess the future development of your business field?
Stephan Brand: The forecast regarding the future indicates that the value creation in process engineering will further grow. We expect a positive development.
