Allu announces new dealers for Hungary and South Africa. The newly appointed companies will be supplying a comprehensive range of Allu Transformer and Processor attachments, and in conjunction with Allu, provide full aftermarket care, spare parts and dedicated customer service.
Allu’s new distributor in Hungary is Profi-Bagger, which was founded in 1993 and is part of the Rosenstein Baumaschinenhandel GmbH & Co. KG, Warburg group of companies. The group specialises in the supply of earthmoving and processing equipment, with the Allu range seen as offering perfect operational synergies to its existing expertise and product lines. Company managing director, Krisztián Kozma, says of dealership: “In the course of our continuous development we have sought and seized the opportunity to supply the Hungarian representations of the new machines of smaller, but more famous Western European machine manufacturers, such as the famous Allu brand.”
The Hungarian company has in recent years grown significantly. In 2004, the company moved to a new, modern site in a green field location at the Vendel Industrial Park in Biatorbágy. In 2006, it introduced ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. From 2008 it has added major brands to its inventory, with Allu being the latest and a highly significant development.
Southern African representative
Central Europe is not the only area where Allu has expanded its distributorship network recently. Egelquip (Pty) Ltd is a South African company with a history stretching back to 1983. It now supplies construction equipment throughout southern Africa, and is seen as a premium service provider within the plant and machinery industry. The company offers a range of services ranging from machine sales to plant hire, all based on reliable, quality manufactured, heavy duty equipment. These must be able to operate across a broad field of application types including mining, construction, waste management and waste disposal.
Egelquip (Pty) Ltd was established in 2013 by Kieron Geoghegan as a ‘new’ version of his original business, Conquip Plant Hire, which began trading in 1983. Once retired from his position as an international director of this highly successful firm, Kieron decided to start up a more modern interpretation of this highly successful business model. As a result of this, Egelquip was created with the intention of embracing the changed business environment with a fresh outlook in order to strike competitively within the industry and related markets. This approach has led directly to taking on Allu Transformers and Processors throughout southern Africa.

Support as well as sales
The appointment of such professional and experienced industry distributors reinforces Allu’s commitment in providing even greater levels of customer focus. It also further enhances locally focused customer support, whilst at the same time enabling customers to benefit from dealing with a truly global company. In practical terms this means that as well as providing ‘point of contact’ customer support in Hungary and Southern Africa, when the situation requires it, both Profi-Bagger and Egelquip will be able to call on round the clock assistance from Allu’s Finland based technical support department. This will further enable customers to benefit from the specialised advice and assistance that has made Allu the world leading supplier of material processing attachments: namely the Transformer and Processor series.
Customers’ in focus
Of the appointment of Profi-Bagger, Jeroen Hinnen, Allu’s vice president of sales states: “We are sure that the combination of Allu equipment and global aftermarket support, together with the local knowledge and industry expertise of such a well-respected Hungarian company, will enable Allu customers to benefit from a winning combination.” Jeroen continues, “The opportunities in southern Africa are also staggering, with Egelquip having the know-how, expertise and contacts to show how the Allu Transformers can help with surface mining and other material processing applications.
“I’d like to welcome both companies to the Allu family, and look forward to working with them over the coming years. I know they are keen to get started and help transform customers’ businesses.” Reinforcing Jeroen’s comments, although only recently appointed as distributors of Allu equipment, training and product familiarisation have already begun. Both Profi-Bagger and Egelquip sales and service personnel have already undertaken extensive application and service programs.
