Combining the engineering expertise for equipment, to support a wide variety of products in one location better serves customers and enables cross-functional best practices and knowledge sharing across the different functions. “We have already found many qualified and experienced candidates to join us. The quality of education in India is very good, and as a global company, we can offer broad career opportunities for individuals to progress and experience in being part of some of our key operations. We will put a special focus on having a supportive and engaging working culture where everyone can develop and reach their full potential,” Takaluoma continues.

In addition to the new engineering center in the Gujarat state, Metso Outotec has two foundries in Vadodara and Ahmedabad producing high-quality consumables and spare parts. The foundries employ around 700 persons.
