CDE Demonstration Event
CDE is delighted to be hosting a two-day Demonstration Event at D.A. MATTSSON, near Stockholm in Sweden next month on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th from 8 am to 4 pm each day (refreshments and food will be served all day). The Open Days will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to see the latest wet processing technologies implemented at the site by CDE.
DA Mattsson AB is a family company, which has existed since 1921 and is now operated by the fourth generation of he Mattsson family. Their primary business is landfill and recycling operations and previously typically either landfilled incoming inert material or crushed and screened it for low grade project reuse.
DA Mattsson saw potential in the market to supply a high quality washed recycled product for reuse in new construction. Through a collaborative approached CDE designed a highly innovative recycling solution for the Mattsson company, which would effectively process the incoming material to produce high quality washed construction sand and aggregate but also have the ability to produce specialist sands.
The new recycling system has incorporated innovative additional organics removal technology which enhances the organics removal from the aggrgegates and from the sand. Installed and commissioned 2016 the processing plant has opened up a number of new markets and positioned Mattsson AB as the number one recycling company in their region.
“The installation of this advanced CDE wet processing solution has allowed DA Mattsson AB to supply high quality washed aggregates to the construction industry as a viable alternative to natural materials. The advanced technology has also enabled DA Mattson AB to win more specialist projects such as a recent Golf Course sand project,” explains Niklas Mattsson.
