A new name and a new logo, but the essentials endure
The Humboldt Wedag Coal & Minerals Technology GmbH a subsidiary of the renowned KHD Humboldt Wedag was acquired by the Indian plant construction company McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd. (MBE) in October 2009. The company headquartered in Cologne with over 150 years of experience, is a world leader in the planning, delivery and construction of plants and equipment for mineral and coal processing. For the Cologne based plant construction company now operating under the name MBE Coals & Minerals Technology Ltd little will change apart from the name and the colour of the logo: the company with its long engineering tradition continues to provide customers with specialist know-how, state of the art technology, skilled employees and comprehensive service. With subsidiaries in South Africa, India, Russia, China and Brazil, MBE Coal & Minerals Technology GmbH offers its customers in-house solutions for comprehensive delivery and service in the field of minerals and coal preparation. These range from the first consultation and feasibility studies to facility design, engineering, equipment delivery, installation and thorough user training.
