Change in management in three strategic business units

The Zeppelin Group announces personnel changes on management level in the Strategic Business Units (SBUs) of Construction Machines EU, Rental and Z Lab. The staff have been replaced by in-house employees.
 
Michael Heidemann left the executive board of the Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH with effect from June 6, 2017. Since 1999, he was a member and since 2008 Chairman of the Board of the Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH and will now take the chair in the supervisory board of this company. As Vice Chairman of the Zeppelin Group management, Michael Heidemann will continue to be responsible for the three Strategic Business Units of Construction Machines EU, Construction Machines CIS and Rental even in future. With effect from July 1, 2017, Fred Cordes assumed the function of the Chairman of the Board of the Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH. Cordes has been working for the company since 1995 and has been responsible for Distribution and Marketing since 2012 as Managing Director. At the same time, Fred Cordes will take charge of the management of the SBU Construction Machines EU.
 
A change in management also occured in the SBUs Rental and Z Lab. Wolfgang Hahnenberg left the management board of the Zeppelin Rental GmbH & Co KG as of June 30, 2017 and took over the management of the SBU Z Lab as well as the chair of the management of the subsidiary Klickrent GmbH with effect from July 1, 2017. The SBU Z Lab was established in the year 2016 with the focus on the development of new digital business models. As of July 1, 2017, Wolfgang Hahnenberg’s functions as Chairman of the Board of the Zeppelin Rental GmbH & Co. KG and head of the SBU Rental are assumed by Arne Severin, who has been working as CFO for the Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH since 2013. He is succeeded by Dr. Andreas Kamm, Head of the Corporate Audit Unit of the Zeppelin Group, from July 1, 2017.
