Procemin 2015: Optimizing concentration plant productivity
Dalibor Dragicevic, Vice-President Processes, Compañía Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi, Chile, and chair of the 11th version of the International Mineral Processing Conference, is very pleased to invite all interested to participate in Procemin 2015, taking place from October 21 to 23, 2015 in Santiagp/Chile. Procemin is a conference that over the years has grown to be considered the best opportunity in Latin America to meet all major players in the field of Mineral Processing. As the largest copper-producing country in the world, Chile is home to major mining companies, engineering firms and equipment suppliers.
Procemin has become the main mineral processing meeting in the southern hemisphere. With three days of technical sessions Procemin 2015 will be an excellent opportunity to share operational experience and strengthen global professional network. In addition the conference will promote an exchange of knowledge and experience which together with the efforts towards a more sustainable development of the minerals industry will be the key actors during this conference.
Objectives
– Promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the mineral processing industries of base metals, precious metals, iron and steel and non-metal mining.
– Identify and discuss major challenges regarding value creation in mineral processing; the role of innovation, human resource management and the contribution of technology providers.
– Generate a support network and the exchange of information among professionals engaged in mineral processing.

Call of papers
Interested professionals are invited to submit a 200-300 word abstract of their paper in English by March 16, 2015. Abstracts should be uploaded using the form available on the Authors section of this website.
The abstract must state the study's objectives as well as a summary of the results, its importance and applications. Abstracts must also include a title of no more than 100 characters (including spaces) and the correspondent author's full contact information.
Simultaneous Spanish-English translation will be available during the sessions, thus oral presentations can be given in either language.
