Since April 2013 the medium-sized LST Group took over sale and distribution of track-mounted crushers and screens as a new partner for Metso in Germany for selected regions. “The LST Group based in Herrsching on the Ammersee has signed an agreement with Metso to take over sales for a large part of the southern, western and north-western Germany,” says Markus Püllen, Managing Director of Metso Minerals (Deutschland) GmbH. “As Apex-Lieben, the previously contracted distributor for the western Germany was taken over by the LST Group practically at the same time, the new partner is playing a key role in the sale of our mobile equipment across Germany.” In the south, the LST Group takes the place of the recently exited distributor Weber Aufbereitungstechnik. From Lübeck in the north through the former Apex site of Geilenkirchen (Lower Rhine) to Ammersee, the LST Group covers part of Germany over the western axis from the north to the south. In addition to LST, Metso has a contract with the two distributors Fischer-Jung near Dresden, which serves the Eastern German market, and HSB, which supplies the entire Saarland and Luxemburg with mobile equipment.
Metso is continuing with the direct sale of its product and service portfolio across Germany. This covers all stationary equipment like crushers, screens and equipment for process filtration, pump technology and components for conveyors. Starting from the Metso bases at Mannheim, Bochum and another five sites in the east and north of the country, Metso provides its customers with on-site support.
