ABMEC growth continues with new members announced
08.01.2024The only association representing the UK mining supply chain, ABMEC, has seen an unprecedented increase in membership over the preceding 6 months to further strengthen its collaborative benefits and networking opportunities.
ABMEC members include OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), component suppliers, service providers and educational establishments, all supplying world-class products and services to the global mining market providing employment for over 4400 people.
Companies new to the association are Redpath Deilmann UK Ltd, Nuclear Waste Services Ltd, Triton Risk Management Ltd, Hatfield Site Services, Safety Sheild Global Ltd, Grydale Europe, with the most recent addition being AmpPower Engineering Ltd.

Recently, the Annual ABMEC Conference & Exhibition took place in Nottingham on Thursday 23 November 2023, highlighting the world’s need for mining to sustain economic growth and development. With a record number of speakers and delegates attending, the Conference was entertaining, informative and educational.
The hugely successful UK Mining Conference, created by Cornish Lithium plc, and organised by ABMEC, saw record numbers this year with over 280 delegates hearing papers from all sectors of the mining industry. Plans are already underway for the next 2-day UK Mining Conference in Cornwall on 12 to 13 June 2024 where speakers will tackle issues of responsibly extracting metals and minerals prevalent throughout the UK.
