TrailerLow loaderPlateau AT-P in the latest generation

The latest generation of the AT-P 400 4-axle low-loader platform trailer series will be on display. This design concept is characterised by a flat and low loading height. A variety of integrated load securing options make the user's work easier. In addition to time and cost savings, ergonomic operation also takes centre stage. These include the fold-out and fold-down lashing rings of 10000 daN, which enable optimum lashing in any direction and at any angle. The innovative lashing triangles in the outer frame, where the lashing hooks are always at the optimum angle to the machines or pallets to be secured, are positioned at close intervals. Ramp operation using self-locking hydraulic cylinders eliminates the need for a lateral diagonal rod or tensioning straps and significantly reduces the set-up time for the driver during the loading process.

AP-BTA series celebrates its trade fair premiere

The AP-BTA trailer platform series celebrates its trade fair première at bauma 2025. The AP-BTA construction concept impresses with its product design, user benefits and flexibility of use for roll-off and skip containers, ISO containers, pallets, construction equipment and construction machinery. This is achieved by equipping the system with aluminium ramps, pneumatic clamps and a lashing concept that is coordinated in terms of number and load capacity. With the AP-BTA models in 2- and 3-axle turntable design, there is also a tandem trailer concept. Special attention is also paid to the high operational requirements of technical emergency services, fire brigades and disaster control.

Entry into a new performance class: ST low-loader semi-trailers

ZANDT cargo will also be presenting a new performance class in its product range at bauma 2025 with the ST low loader semitrailer product series. This expansion represents a milestone in ZANDT cargo's development. The special frame concept of the ST series lies in the combination of a central box frame in the low bed and the external frame beams in the high bed. The result is both a maximised payload length in the low bed and an optimised tare weight for a high payload. The built-in electro-hydraulic forced steering ensures high manoeuvrability when reversing as well as very good cornering characteristics. A long, wide and deep excavator arm recess allows the excavator boom arms to be positioned anywhere while complying with the legal height requirements. ‘Low-loader semitrailers are one of the most important areas of activity for the company in the coming years. Here, too, the top priority is to see the driver as the user and to create real added value for him in terms of ergonomic flexibility of use. Our aim is to minimise costs for customers over the entire period of use. That's why we design our tandem and turntable trailers and now also the new low-loader semi-trailers in such a way that the technology optimally supports customers in their daily tasks,’ says owner Manfred ZANDT.

Efficient and resilient: Tandem trailer low loader TAT for the asphalt column

ZANDT cargo has another sophisticated product solution for construction machinery in an asphalt column. A hydraulic ramp variant that can be pushed together completely is available for driving on with three-wheeled asphalt milling machines. Two individual ramps, each 800 mm wide, then become a closed drive-on ramp with a width of 1600 mm. The rear slope and the 3 m long drive-on ramps ensure a flat drive-on angle. This means that asphalt pavers with flat screed clearance can also be moved without touching down. In addition, the drive-over area on the ramp shaft is closed. This prevents jamming with small wheel diameters or steel drums. The entire transport area of an asphalt column of milling machines, pavers and rollers is thus optimally covered. An optional tarpaulin structure also enables weather-protected transport and storage. This also emphasises ZANDT cargo's customer-oriented product development for use on construction sites.

Stable value thanks to long service life

‘A key aspect is high quality and workmanship. These ensure a long service life and stable value. An essential part of this is the use of high-strength fine-grained steel. The serial galvanising and painting of all steel components with the multi-award-winning ZinkStaubFarbBeschichtung ZinkSFB coating process is also a unique advantage of our products. This has a decisive influence on the proven value retention of our trailers,’ emphasises Manfred Zandt.
