Scheuch GmbH

We’re celebrating an anniversary at Scheuch: exactly ten years ago, we burst onto the exhaust gas cleaning scene with the world’s first semi-dust SCR system for the cement industry. We’ve gone from strength to strength since then, delivering a steady stream of innovative products. Technologies like deconox®, xmercury and RTO have helped us reinforce our world-leading position in the exhaust gas cleaning sector. Air and environmental technology specialist Scheuch once again showed its innovative colours at POWTECH 2022.

This year, Scheuch GmbH – which is headquartered in Upper Austria – once again showcased itself at the leading trade fair for mechanical process engineering, taking place in Nuremberg. Our presence at the event this time was marked by the ten-year anniversary we were celebrating in relation to our dust filtration technology. This area represents a mainstay of Scheuch’s business and we have been offering complete solutions for it in a whole range of industries for almost 60 years now. Whether a project involves bag filters, electrostatic precipitators, hot gas filtration, compact filters or special applications, hot gas filtration from thermal processes and waste heat utilization are both important areas that we are able to serve through the solutions we provide.

Ten years of exhaust gas cleaning

Scheuch’s decision to break into the exhaust gas cleaning market ten years ago was another step forward in our efforts to become a full-service provider. With technologies like deconox®, xmercury, regenox, SCR and many more, we cover the entire exhaust gas line, much to the benefit of our customers.

Our customers’ requirements are changing all the time, as are the industries that our technologies cater to. Scheuch provides all its customers with process-related solutions that are perfectly tailored to the process conditions in question.  Successfully implementing new steps into a highly complex production process in a large-scale industrial system is always one of the central challenges of a project, but Scheuch’s many years of experience in a range of industries and its extensive process expertise have enabled it to establish tried-and-true solutions in this area. It is this know-how that has always made Scheuch a cut above the rest.

Product portfolio completed by Scheuch’s rtocompact and rtopremium technologies

Scheuch’s extensive product portfolio is rounded off by our regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO) process. We are proud to have had the opportunity to present our rtocompact and rtopremium versions at POWTECH. While RTO technology is nothing new for Scheuch, we are now able to offer our customers a range of versions and sizes that enable the technology to be adapted perfectly to their processes.

Regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO) is used in applications that require VOC (hydrocarbons), CO (carbon), HCN (hydrogen cyanide) or even odours to be removed from exhaust air, making it an important tool in protecting the environment. A well-integrated heat recovery system ensures that combustion is able to take place with hardly any additional fuels – or none at all. If an electric heating option is available, the environmental footprint can be reduced even more significantly.

The advantages at a glance:

• Option of electric heating to optimize carbon footprint

• Flexible footprint kept to a minimum to accommodate tight spaces

• High degree of pre-assembly, meaning little assembly work is required

• Option of extracting energy using heat transfer oil, steam or hot water

• Flexible choice of fuels (including biofuels)

Scheuch – Technology for clean air
