The relationship with the HD Hyundai authorised dealer Mörtlbauer Baumaschinen in Fürstenzell has existed for more than 20 years. They were currently looking for a universal wheel loader for loading, transport and special work. The 147 kW HD Hyundai HL955A wheel loader is offered in the TM version (TM = Tool Master) with a parallel mast. This differs from the usual Z-kinematics in that the bucket or pallet fork is guided in parallel, which effectively prevents the pallet from slipping. Equipped with a fully hydraulic quick coupler, Bäck’s jack-of-all-trades can conveniently couple buckets, pallet forks, sieve shovels and other accessories from the driver’s seat.
The 16 700 kg wheel loader can be combined with buckets of up to 1.8 m³. It is powered by a 147 kW four-cylinder Cummins engine. It transmits its power to a ZF five-speed Powershift transmission. Optional equipment includes the hydraulic Oilquick quick coupler, hydraulic pallet fork with fork positioner and a concrete mixing bucket.
3 The hydraulically adjustable pallet clamp is exchanged for a standard bucket and concrete mixer bucket using an Oilquick quick coupler. Stockpiling mineral mix is also part of the wheel loader’s work spectrum

The HL-A wheel loader series in detail
Automatic engine shutdown keeps fuel consumption and emissions strictly under control at the right time. The HL-A series switches off the engine when idling. The operating mode and the time for which the engine “idles” can be set by the operator depending on the working conditions, which in turn increases efficiency. The standard five-speed transmission with lock-up clutch also further reduces fuel consumption. An ECO display enables consistently economical operation by frequently checking the machine’s status.
The ECO display changes colour with the engine torque and fuel efficiency. In addition, fuel consumption values such as average consumption and total consumption are monitored and displayed on the monitor. The standard ECO accelerator pedal distinguishes between economical mode and performance mode – fuel consumption is significantly lower in economy mode. A “speed limiter” can be set for drivers of the HL series between 20 and 40 km/h as required for optimum and effective operation.
New cab with more comfort for the driver
Quiet, safe and comfortable, plus 10 % larger –the new ROPS/FOPS cab with fully adjustable seat offers the driver an ergonomic and extremely pleasant workplace. It is particularly well soundproofed and utilises the latest noise-reducing technology to ensure maximum silence when working in noisy environments such as gravel pits or waste depots. The new air conditioning system maximises heating and cooling performance by optimising air flow in the cab. The electro-hydraulic joystick makes it easy to guide the attachments, which improves productivity and reduces fatigue.
Infotainment system for high user comfort
The 7-inch monitor operates in a similar way to a smartphone display. It is also larger than in the previous models and easy to read. The audio system including radio has an integrated Bluetooth hands-free system and a built-in microphone, allowing the driver to take and make calls in the cab. The infotainment system also offers the operator the option of using Miracast. This system allows the operator to transfer the functions of their mobile phone to the large screen via the WLAN of their smartphone - including navigation, internet surfing, video and music playback. All models in the HL series are optionally available with joystick steering. The end position damping, bucket priority and locking position for the boom and bucket are adjusted via the touchscreen monitor and electrohydraulically pilot-controlled levers.
