At the end of the year 2021, the Italian vibration technology specialists from OLI Spa had two reasons to celebrate, as the inauguration of a new building at the Medolla headquarters in the Emilia-Romagna region coincided with the company’s 60th anniversary in 2021. The company, which coordinates 23 international subsidiaries and 6 production sites on five continents from Medolla, has become a worldwide reference since its foundation in 1961, e.g. for the development, production and distribution of industrial vibrators, electric vibrators, concrete vibrators and frequency converters. OLI founder Piero Corsi was also present at the celebrations at the headquarters in Medolla.

Giorgio Gavioli, General Manager of the company, said: “Today is very important for OLI, but it does not mark a moment when we arrive. Our goal is to always look forward and not stand still,” Stefano Bonaccini, President of Emilia-Romagna, ventured a look back at the company’s history in the region in his greeting: “The production sector in Emilia-Romagna is largely made up of stories like the one we are celebrating today; of companies that began as family businesses and became international leaders thanks to the quality of their products and the professionalism of their management and workforce.” Vainer Marchesini, President of OLI’s parent company, WAMGROUP, added: “The financial crisis of 2008 and the terrible earthquake of 2012 led us to focus on reconstruction for 5 years. But we managed to grow anyway.”
