This year Frei Fördertechnik AG, headquartered in Rubigen/Swizerland, celebrates its 55th anniversary. Founded in 1967 by Ernst Frei, it has developed into an innovative specialist in the field of plant engineering and materials handling technology with 130 employees.  On 1 June 2022, Collin Frei handed over the management of the company to long-time employees Jan Blatter and Patrick Zimmermann. After an intensive and fulfilling 26 years as owner and managing director, the family business is now taking an important step into the future. In his existing function as a member of the board of directors, Collin Frei will continue to support his successors in project acquisition and special projects. The handover of operational management gives the company the opportunity to approach its strategic direction with the necessary vigour to remain an agile and innovative partner in the future. “With Jan Blatter and Patrick Zimmermann, I have been able to win two extremely competent and experienced companions for my succession. This makes me and the entire Board of Directors very happy. Both have been instrumental in the success and development of today’s Frei Fördertechnik AG. Together as co-managing directors, they will take the company’s fortunes in their hands,” says Collin Frei.
