The Warrior 2100 Screen – a solution for every application

Based on the Warrior 2100 triple shaft screen, Powerscreen has launched two further variants for the model: the Spaleck and a single shaft screen. With this options the Warrior 2100 offers a solution for just about every application.

Triple Shaft

The Warrior 2100 screen is engineered to include the Triple Shaft technology, so the 4.9 x 1,5 m screenbox is highly effective and efficient while maintaining exceptional throughput productivity. The extreme screening acceleration offers the Warrior 2100 screen improved capabilities, especially in sticky scalping applications.

Flip-Flow technology

At the core of the new Powerscreen® Warrior 2100 Screen is the 2 deck high performance waste recycling screen with a Spaleck Flip-Flow-bottom deck. The stepped top deck design combined with Flip-Flow technology on the bottom deck puts this screen into a class of its own for customers in many sectors of the waste recycling industry.

Key to this is the introduction of the Flip-Flow bottom deck on the Warrior 2100 screen which uses rubber panels that move in a smooth wave motion expanding and contracting to keep the material constantly in motion. This breaks down sticky material, such as clay and soil, making it possible to produce 0-10 mm fines with minimal contamination from non-inert material such as wood and plastic, which will generally fall into the +10 mm particle band.

Recyclable material enters the top deck, comprised of five stepped 3-D screening segments formed from open surface panels. As well as preventing waste from catching in the surface and reducing downtime for clearance, this design helps ensures long, thin pieces cannot pass through to the bottom layer, thereby reducing wear and tear on the bottom deck media. The deck panels on the top and bottom deck, are easily removable, and can be replaced individually or together.

Single shaft

The single shaft screen provides the Warrior 2100 with the balance to screen efficiently in less demanding applications when the power of a triple shaft drive or the precision of a Flip-Flow deck is not required. The single shaft screen provides effective screening capabilities with a more conventional approach. Supported on 2 x 130 m bearings the single shaft screen provides an impressive screening stroke and screening angles of up to 18 degrees.

The drive system is mounted directly to the screen side and is pulley driven to ensure that optimum hydraulic efficiency can be realised at both standard and increased amplitudes, making the Warrior 2100 Single shaft a leader in the conventional class with 4.9 x 1,5 m screenbox.

The Warrior 2100 range is powered by a Cat C4.4 – 4 cylinder diesel engine which is designed to run at 1800 rpm making it the most fuel efficient platform in its class. The machine can be ordered with the Dual Power option which has a fully integrated control system allowing an end user to power the machine via the diesel hydraulic engine or directly from a mains power source in an environmentally sensitive area. The Warrior 2100 range has high performance 2 speed tracks making it class leading and superior serviceability and maintenance access making it a flexible and user friendly platform.

The Warrior 2100 is now available to order in any of the three screen variants with screenbox conversion in the field available through your local Powerscreen Distributor. This kind of flexibility can be beneficial to customers in the rental industry, screening contractors or those with seasonal limitations. The Warrior 2100 range and its three screenbox variants offers the user the ability to product saleable material in the broadest selection of applications
