SBM presents the JAWMAX® 200 – a powerful mobile jaw crusher
Just in time for its 70th anniversary, SBM launches a mobile jaw crusher of the latest generation. In the new JAWMAX® 200, SBM optimised size and compactness and created the largest possible crusher on an optimal transport chassis. SBM thus offers an entry-level model for construction companies, for example, for the processing and recycling of demolition waste and is taking a trend-setting step in the expansion of the market for mobile processing plants.
“Our new JAWMAX® 200 mobile jaw crusher is a completely new development from SBM. Its special kinematics make it even more powerful and powerful in feed than comparable models. It also offers maximum convenience: With the JAWMAX® 200, nothing has to be dismantled or reassembled after transport. The machine is immediately ready for operation”, says SBM sales manager Helmut Haider, pleased about the high customer response even before the official launch. With the product launch of the JAWMAX® 200, SBM is also realigning its sales strategy in the field of mobile processing plants. The new plant was officially presented at the product launch on 15.10.2020 at the SBM site in Liezen/Austria.
JAWMAX® 200: Compact and mobile meets maximum performance and economy
The very name of the JAWMAX® 200 is an indication of the potential of the new mobile plant. The standardised, mobile solution from SBM convinces with its high performance, absolute reliability, high quality, a high degree of innovation as well as simple and safe operation, with best economic efficiency. The declared aim was to develop a mobile jaw crusher not only for natural stone, but especially also for the recycling sector, with maximum performance and economy. The new jaw crusher has a transport weight of only 27 tons. This makes the JAWMAX® 200 one of the lightweights in the compact class.
The powerful mobile plant with the large inlet opening of 1000 x 600 mm is also suitable as a primary crusher for impact mills on small construction sites. The soft-start automatic system allows easy operation of the plant and makes it interesting for rental companies, too, as the plant can be started and stopped easily by remote control from an excavator or wheel loader. Fully automatic gap adjustment, overload protection, radio remote control, magnet and lowerable discharge conveyor are just some of the highlights of the new JAWMAX® 200. The complete plant is driven fully electrically, as usual with SBM. Power is supplied by a 200 kVA three-phase diesel generator of the latest Euro 5 engine generation or directly from the mains.
Digital control: with the SBM app SBM Crush Control, all lines at a glance
The SBM Crush Control App offers smart and clearly arranged various functions. With just one click you can call up an overview of the current machine data such as maintenance values, location information and fuel consumption. Analyses of the most diverse machine data are also provided as reports via the APP. The new SBM App Crush Control is available in the iOS App Store and in the Google Playstore. In the course of the year, a supplementary web shop will follow in the app for ordering wear and spare parts.
Strategic reorientation in the division of MOBILE CRUSHING & SCREENING SOLUTIONS
In recent years, the SBM team has worked consistently on the structural change or reorientation of the sales department. The declared aim is to distribute the products of the MOBILE CRUSHING & SCREENING SOLUTIONS division exclusively via a network of sales partners, i.e. via a qualified dealer and service network in all leading markets of the world by the end of 2021. This reorientation brings SBM even closer to its customers and ensures the sustainable and economic success of SBM’s professional customers in the following sectors: natural stone quarrying and processing, gravel, sand and crushed stone, construction and road building, recycling of concrete, asphalt and construction waste, the mining industry and recycling of industrial waste products.
“We achieved the series production standards for the plants required for this step with the product launch of our new ‘entry-level models’ REMAX & JAWMAX® 200. With our REMAX and JAMAX® model series we now offer the industry a suitable solution for all requirements,” says Haider and adds: “The next innovations from SBM are already in the starting blocks.”
SBM 70 years pointing the way
The current success of SBM Mineral Processing is based on the vision and perseverance of Franz Wageneder. The owner of a sand and gravel works started the development of the swivel beam mill in 1950, founded the company “SBM Wageneder” and revolutionised the market of that time with his first impact grinding mill. The material quality of the new SBM became the benchmark in the industry and in the following years a veritable invasion of the hard stone industry by SBM plants worldwide followed.
In 2006, the company took another trend-setting step with a strategic reorientation in the international environment under the new company name “SBM Mineral Processing GmbH”. With this move, SBM finally positioned itself internationally as a full-service provider of customised solutions. A further milestone followed in 2011 with the takeover of SBM by the shareholders Maschinenfabrik Liezen-Gruppe Haider, Heinrich Obernhuber and Krünes Consulting GmbH. SBM becomes the technology centre for processing technology and concrete mixing plants within the MFL Group. In 2012 SBM moves to the current company location in Oberweis near Gmunden/Austria.
