Prevention of overloaded trucks through overload control system

T‌he PFREUNDT overload control system is a mobile system for protection against overload and optimization of the payload of trucks. It determines and monitors the weight of individual axles or axle groups and issues a warning on the digital display in the driver’s cab if these or the entire vehicle is overloaded. In this way, the system enables the load distribution to be checked quickly, thus preventing fines and overload notices from being imposed. Optimizing payload distribution and thus maximizing payload capacity also reduces vehicle wear and lowers fuel consumption.
