For the Erlau AG, the key to success in the manufacturing of tire protection chains are the strict requirements on the in-house co-developed high-alloy stainless steel, the perfectly dense, but nevertheless flexible network figuration and the advantages of the STEG- and RING-based “dual systems”. Further benefits are the market-oriented production and the customer-oriented local service worldwide: for Germany and Europe in the main factory in Aalen, for America in Brazil and for the Far East in China.

 

In addition to the material quality, many loader manufacturers state the Easylock system, for which a patent is pending, as a reason to apply the tire protection chains from Erlau. Both for the initial assembly and in subsequent applications, handling is possible without using a hammer, which leads to a reduction in assembly time of up to 30 %.

 

The sidewall protection for dump trucks used in highly aggressive environments has been considered as an unsolved challenge for many years. Now, Erlau offers the SIDEFLEX as a solution for sustainable sidewall protection; the SIDEFLEX is quick and easy to install or dismantle, without requiring any components on the tread of the tire. The new system is lightweight and the support disc is fastened by means of a smart spreading and clamping system.

 

And finally yet importantly, Erlau offer a recent Cloud-­solution for their tire-chain division, with additional, perfectly user-friendly benefits. The CMS-SYSTEM provides the ­customer with the possibility of saving all data of his chains and retrieving them at any time. This includes, inter alia, operating hours, assembly data, manufacturing date, the remaining mileage and the previous wear.
