NordBau 2013 – A firework display of new technology
A firework display of new construction machinery and
equipment, which were launched this year, will be shown at the 58th NordBau in Neumünster from 12. to 17. September 2013. Once again around 900 exhibitors from at home and abroad have been registered for one of the largest compact fair in Northern Europe (Fig.). About 20 000 m2 in 9 halls and 69 000 m2 of open fairgrounds are available for the six-day trade fair. When viewing the far-reaching innovations, in particular regarding the construction machinery and equipment on site, for example, visitors will get an idea of the speed of the implementation of the turnaround in energy policies. This is proved by the latest technical systems equipped with the motor generation IIIB. However, stage IV of the EU exhaust gas directives, which will come into effect next year, will also provide enough discussion topics for an animated exchange of ideas between exhibitors and visitors at the Holsten Halls in Neumünster.
With the machinery and equipment, the contractors and craftsmen will be informed how costs can be essentially reduced by means of fuel savings and increased productivity. Not only the latest drive technology, which was shown at many construction machinery and equipment fairs all over the world during the last few months, will play an important role, but also the comprehensive provision of services. In addition, the unity of man and machine has an increasing importance for a successful construction as regards the development of new technologies. Only if the operator is feeling at ease and finds a well-functioning ergonomy that corresponds to the operation, together with high safety standards, can exacting construction tasks be fulfilled with an optimum machine performance. Operators and technicians will explain these topics to the visitors at the NordBau, which is the traditional meeting place for the branch every year. This is proof of the high quality of this trade fair, where there is enough time for communication.
