New production line for Metso screening machines
Given the different design features, Metso decided to subdivide their successfully established screening machines into two different production lines. From now on they are named Metso PREMIER SiebeTM and Metso COMPACT SiebeTM. In addition to the different design features, the corresponding field of application also plays an important role.
The category Metso PREMIER SiebeTM comprises the inclined circle-throw vibrating screens of the series Nordberg CVBTM, the horizontal screen of the series ESTM and the multi‑
stage banana screen of the series TSTM (Fig.). They are freely configurable and process any kind of feed. Due to their high flexibility and easy maintenance these screens are suitable for applications that require high availability. The manufacturer says that his equipment is characterized by permanently low operating costs in a market segment that is otherwise cost-intensive.
The category Metso COMPACT SiebeTM comprises all units that have already been installed in mobile crushing and screening plants from Metso and that are now also available as individual machines for stationary plants. They include the inclined circle-throw vibrating screen CVB-MTM as well as the horizontal elliptical-motion screen FSTM. Both have a long tradition and have always been traditional integral parts in mobile plants, such as the Lokotracks or the Nordberg® series NWTM. The category Metso COMPACT SiebeTM also comprises the linear-motion screens of the series DFTM as well as the banana screens for pre-screening.
